Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe and flight to Bwindi
Your guide will greet you at Entebbe International Airport and help arrange your flight to the Bwindi impenetrable forest. The flight provides stunning aerial views of Uganda’s rolling hills and lush landscapes. Upon landing at the airstrip, you will transfer to your accommodation, where you will check in and relax. Enjoy an afternoon nature walk or stay at your lodge enjoying the views of the forest before dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi
After an early breakfast, you will proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking. Accompanied by expert guides, you will venture into the dense forest in search of a gorilla family assigned to you. The trek can take a few hours, depending on the location of the gorillas, but the moment you find them, you will spend one hour observing them as they play, live, interact feed in their home. After the hike, you’ll return to the lodge for the night. 
Day 3: Fly to Entebbe, then fly to Maasai Mara.
After breakfast, we will transfer you to the airstrip for your flight back to Entebbe, after which you will proceed to Maasai Mara in Kenya. As you approach Maasai Mara, the aerial views of the endless savannah plains is breathtaking. Upon arrival, you will be picked up by your guide and transferred to your safari lodge. Enjoy the rest of the evening at your accommodation as you prepare for the activities ahead.
Day 4: Full day in Maasai Mara.
Wake up early for a full-day game drive across the Maasai Mara plains. The reserve is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife crossing the Mara River. Your guide will take you to the prime viewing spots where you will encounter cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and the Big Five, among many others. A picnic lunch in the wilderness will give you a chance to soak in the beauty of the African savannah before you embark on an afternoon game drive. After exploring the reserve, you will return to your lodge in time for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Morning game drive and cultural visit
Start off the day with an early morning game drive, when the animals are most active. You may spot predators on the hunt or witness a herd of elephants heading to a watering hole. After the drive, return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation. Visit a nearby Maasai village in the afternoon to discover more about their distinctive Tanzanian cultural customs. Experience their vibrant dances, listen to the fascinating stories, and gain insight into their way of life. This cultural experience presents you the way of life of the locals that live near Maasai Mara and how they have lived in harmony with the animals for centuries. 
Day 6: Flight to Nairobi and departure
After a final morning game drive, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival you can either connect with your international flight or enjoy a short city tour if time allows. This afternoon marks the end of your 6-day flying safari to Bwindi and Maasai Mara National Reserve, a journey that brings you to a close encounter with the popular destinations in East Africa of Uganda’s gorillas and Kenya’s wildlife in maasai mara .
