Detailed 7Days Gorillas and wildlife Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by our friendly guide brief you about you 7days best of wildlife  and gorilla trekking with Pearl Africa tours  then he will  transfer you to your hotel for overnight.

Day 2: Lake Mburo National Park

After breakfast, you will embark on a drive to Lake Mburo National Park, located in western Uganda.  In the afternoon, take a boat ride on Lake Mburo to see hippos, crocodiles, and water birds. You will enjoy a game drive in the park where you will have the opportunity to see animals such as impalas, zebras, and buffaloes.

Day 3: Transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

After breakfast, you will drive to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, which is located in southwestern Uganda, close to the border with Rwanda and Congo. In the afternoon, you can take a community walk to visit the Batwa pygmies, who were the original inhabitants of the forest.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking


Early in the morning, you will set off on a gorilla trekking adventure in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Trek through the forest with an experienced guide to find one of the habituated gorilla families the popular Nyakagezi which is also the only habituated family in Mgahinga national park.After briefing about the expected behavior and guidelines in the prescence of the gorillas you bwill head out into the forest to look for the endangered species. Upon being successful in your finding you will  spend an hour in the company of the gorillas, observing their behavior and taking photos. Head back and return to your lodge.

 

Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After an early breakfast at your lodge you will check out and head  for Queen Elizabeth National Park, which is located in southwestern Uganda. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in the park to see lions, elephants, and other wildlife.

 

Day 6: Game Drive and Boat Safari

Start the day with a morning game drive in the Kasenyi sector of the park. Look out for lions, elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes, among others. In the afternoon, take a boat safari on the Kazinga Channel, where you will see hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species.

 

Day 7: Transfer back to Kampala

After enjoying breakfast at your lodge , the climax of your 7days in Uganda best comes to an end here as you depart from the accommodation facility and head back to Kampala through Fort Portal city. You will enjoy an enroute lunch on your way drive back to Entebbe for your departure flight.
