Your 4days Rwanda gorilla trek and Lake kivu safari starts off from a pick up in either Kigali airport from your accomodation in kigali . Upon arrival you will have a meet and greet seassion with our guide from Pearl Africa Tours. After a warm welcome you will be tranfered to Ruhengeri district of Rwanda . You will settle into your accommodation and enjoy a leisurely evening, preparing for the adventure ahead.You can have an optional visit to Ellen deGeneres museum where you can discover the legacy of Dian fossey and her great love and passsion for the mountain gorillas .
Rise early and fuel up with a hearty breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for gorilla trekking orientation or briefing about gorilla trekking rules and regulations that you are required to abide with while in the forest. With experienced guides leading the way, embark on a trek through the lush forests of Volcanoes National Park in search of mountain gorillas. As you navigate the terrain, listen for the sounds of the forest and keep your eyes peeled for signs of gorilla activity. Upon encountering these magnificent creatures, spend a precious hour observing them in their natural habitat. After the trek, transfer to Lake Kivu for a relaxing evening by the lakeside.
Today you will rise to the gentle lapping of waves against the shore and enjoy a remarkable delicious breakfast overlooking the sparkling waters of Lake Kivu. Today is yours to explore the lake and its surroundings at your own pace.
