Detailed Itinerary of 7 Days Tanzania Wilife safari
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. You will have time to rest and acclimatize to the new environment. In the evening, your safari guide will give you a brief on your upcoming itinerary.
Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its vast herds of elephants and baobab trees. You will enjoy a full-day game drive in the park and have a picnic lunch in a scenic spot.
Day 3: Tarangire – Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, you will leave Tarangire and head to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and diverse birdlife. You will have a game drive in the park and visit a nearby Maasai village to learn about their culture.
Day 4: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart for the Serengeti National Park, known for its vast plains and the annual wildebeest migration. En route, you will stop at Olduvai Gorge, a site that holds some of the earliest evidence of human evolution. You will have a game drive in the Serengeti upon arrival.
Day 5: Serengeti National Park
Enjoy a full day of game drives in the Serengeti, exploring different areas of the park and searching for the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino). You will enjoy a picnic lunch in the park and embark on exploring the park further on your game drive
Day 6: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you will visit the famous Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site and home to an abundance of wildlife. You will enjoy a game drive in the crater and have a picnic lunch.
Day 7: Ngorongoro – Arusha
After breakfast, return to Arusha with a stop at a local market to buy souvenirs. Arrive in Arusha in the afternoon and transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.
